About Mental Health America of Franklin County

Mission Statement:
Mental Health America of Franklin County is dedicated to promoting mental health, preventing mental disorders and raising awareness and understanding of mental health issues through advocacy, education and support services.

Our Organization
We are a private, not-for-profit organization established in 1956.
MHAFC envisions a just, humane and healthy society in which all adults and children receive the help they need, are well informed and are accorded respect, dignity and the opportunity to achieve their full potential, free from stigma and prejudice.

We provide a wide variety of services. For a glimpse of those we provided last year, view our Annual Report. Our IRS Form 990 is available at GuideStar, the national database of U.S. charitable organizations.

We are located on Town Street, downtown, 1 1/2 blocks east of Grant Hospital, just east of the intersection of Town and Washington Streets, on the north side of the street.

Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
